We can fix this.

So we had our regional meet over the weekend. This was my first year in this area Y.

The number of stroke infractions was shocking... And quite honestly embarrassing.

I think that it's the fault of coaches putting kids in races that they had zero chance of swimming properly. When a kid can't do the arm correctly or the legs correctly, they should not be in that race for a championship level meet. Sitting next to some of those coaches.... They justified it by saying, they just started in December and could barely swim.... Well, what is the point of doing that when a disqualification is bound to happen? It also was apparent some coaches had less than a great understanding of the actual stroke requirements 😱😲.

I plan to bring this up at our next coaches meeting.... Any ideas on how to say it so I don't step on toes? Did anything work in your area?
