With the launch of macOS Sonoma expected to arrive soon, we are bringing to your attention some important QuarkXPress macOS compatibility considerations to ensure your software experience is unaffected.

QuarkXPress 2023 and all previous versions are not compatible with macOS Sonoma.

We would recommend that users do not upgrade to macOS Sonoma wherever possible, as upgrading may affect stability and performance.

However, QuarkXPress 2024 is on the horizon, and we are expecting to launch in mid-November. This will be compatible with macOS Sonoma, so if you are looking to upgrade to macOS Sonoma, we would recommend you wait until QuarkXPress 2024 is released. This way you can install the two together and gain all the fantastic benefits of doing so.
